my sister commited suicide yday it was tough she left me a letter saying she was gay and couldnt handle it animore i feel like it was my fault for not being there for her should i show my parents the letter?

Oh my gosh. I’m so incredibly sorry. Believe me I know how much it hurts to lose someone so close, so unexpectedly. It was NOT your fault at all love, so please don’t think that. Your sister wouldn’t want that. She obviously confided in you in that letter, which means she trusted enough to tell you, even if she wasn’t alive to. She knew you would be supportive and feel the same towards her, or she would have had you never know. I would show your parents, just because she is their daughter, I think they should know. Just think would you want them showing you the letter if the roles were reversed. Your family is really going to have to stick together during this tough time. My family learned to do that when we lost my mom last spring. Be strong for your sister, even when it’s too hard to be, and live your life to the fullest for her. I’m sure it’s what she would want. If you ever need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to message me again. You and your family will be in my thoughts
